Manx Rescue Information: Manx Cats are best known for their lack of a tail. Manx Cats can have either short or long coats. Manx Cats are playful and acrobatic. A Manx loves affection and often bonds strongly with one person in a family. Some Manx Cats have a hard time adjusting to new owners once they have bonded with someone else. However, many Manx Cats just love attention and companionship wherever they can get it.

Manx Trivia: Manx Cats are descended from native cats indigenous to the Isle of Man. One legend states that Noah closed the door of the Ark on a Manx Cat, which explains the absence of a tail.
