Our first Manx cat died about three months ago, and my family had just started looking for a new one when I found Tikki. We got in touch with the adoption organization and immediately fell in love. He is so sweet and kind hearted. We wouldn't have found him without Rescue Me. Thank you so much for bringing our new companion to us!

Phat Boy was adopted by a man that said the posted picture spoke to him and he has adopted our kitten. A kind, caring gentleman who was the owner of a male Manx for 15 years. His beloved Manx died five years ago and he was ready for a new companion. Phat Boy is one fortunate kitten. Thank you so much Rescue Me!

Baby Manx was adopted by a married couple that had an 18 year old female Manx named Angel that recently passed away. They are kind professionals and fell in love with Baby after spending some time meeting Baby's litter mates and their mom. They will keep Baby inside and plan on letting her sleep with them just as their beloved Angel did. They already have her spay appointment scheduled with their vet once Baby is five months old. Even though we shed some tears, we know she will be loved and taken care of. Thank you so much Rescue Me!

Our Manx cat, Bob, was adopted by a wonderful family. One of the family members took him on a plane across country to his new home. Our other cats miss him and so do my husband and I, but he is getting the kind of attention that we weren't able to give him. We are thrilled that he has found a new home. Thank you for your help, Rescue Me.

We rescued our big boy Jaxx from the streets and just loved his personality and spirit. Unfortunately, our other Manx cats did not! So, we posted him on Rescue Me hoping to hear from someone. A nice, young couple really wanted to adopt a Manx, so they drove over an hour to come and meet Jaxx. What a surprise he was to them! Manx is so unique... Needless to say they fell in love! Rescue Me helped Jaxx and his new family find each other. Thank you.

I had a beautiful Manx cat named Minky for about 17 years. She and my dad found each other in the Bronx. My father brought her home for me, and I was lucky to have this wonderful girl for a long time. She was approximately six months old when I got her. I've wanted another one for quite a while, and logged onto Rescue Me. I saw the posting of Lidia, and made contact with the woman that had her. We communicated over the course of a week while she answered all of my questions. I made the trip north, which took three hours. I spent time with Lidia and her temporary family. We brought her back home and renamed her. She is very sweet and calm besides being exceptionally pretty. My husband, children and I all love her very much. This is a great tool to find homes for those that need them. Rescue Me worked beautifully and was a very easy process. Thank you!!!

I had been fostering these two Manx cats. They had lost their home and were going to have to go to a shelter. I was sure that I could find them a good home. I put up posts all around town, in vet offices, and in restaurants, but no one contacted me. I posted on Rescue Me and received some interest, but only from people who lived several states away. Last week a very nice woman from a nearby city called about the cats. She came to see them and everything went well. She is a very experienced cat owner and keeps her cats inside only. She took them that day and they are doing well together. Thanks to Manx Rescue Me for helping me to find the perfect home for Lil'girl and her brother, Lil'boy. -Mary Anne

She was adopted after just a few days of posting on Rescue Me. She's going to a nice warm home with people who had a Manx but die from cancer. Thanks for your help to find a home for this rescued, Manx girl.

Cleo and Alex were both adopted by the same person who kept them together. As they were both seniors (12+) we were thrilled they now have a forever home together. Thank you, Rescue Me.

Through Rescue Me, I was able to find homes for all of the three Manx kittens: Tux, Marmalade, Lil' Stinky. These kittens were wild and I live-trapped them and had to work on taming them. The people who adopted the kittens were experienced Manx owners and up to the task of dealing with the extra trust issues that these kittens had in going to new homes. One kitten was adopted by someone who lived several hours away from me and was willing to drive to get the kitten.

I had a bunch of little barn kittens that would make excellent house pets to rehome. A wonderful woman found them on Rescue Me and drove the distance to come get them. I have to say, if not for this site, many of the kitties I try to help would never find homes. This is a safe environment for people to use and I really appreciate the ease of its use. These little kittens will now be in a fantastic, indoor environment, where they will get to live like little kings. Thanks again!

My little, stray cat that came to me three weeks ago was adopted two days after I posted her on Rescue Me! The new permanent family is wonderful and I am so happy and confident that this sweetie will be loved and cared for her entire life. This has been a wonderful experience for me!! Thank you for this site!!

Our sweet, handsome boy was adopted by the nicest couple thanks to this site. When I posted here I figured it was a long shot especially given Miles' age. We feel so fortunate to have found such a good match and loving home for him. It made parting with him much easier knowing he was in such good hands. Thanks, Rescue Me!!

Rescue Me! provided the ability to find quality, loving homes for my four Manx kittens. I had so many requests for them that I had a waiting list of folks hoping for an adoption failure! Thank you, Rescue Me!, for the right place to seek homes for my beloved babies.

Bobbie has a new home as of yesterday. I am very thankful for Rescue Me!, where the woman who called me saw the post. Her whole family appeared to adore Bobbie, and I feel like this will be a permanent home for her.

After my cat Batman was posted, I immediately received two inquiries about him. The first didn't come through, but the second became his forever home. I felt good about the person, and she fell in love and promised to take good care of him. She has kept me posted, and he also has a new name to go with his home.

Many, many thanks to Rescue Me! After my Mother passed away and left her two beloved Manx kitties behind, we were determined to find good homes for them. We were successful in finding a loving home for them through Rescue Me! and are eternally grateful. Please keep up the great work - you guys rock!

We were trying to find our cat 'Buster' a home after I had remarried and moved in with my new family (that were allergic to cats) and my daughter and her husband had just had a new baby and as life would have it my son in-laws family has allergies in their family and the baby arrived with them... so we, after a few months of trying different things started to try and find him a home. Anyway to make a long story a little longer, hahaha, I posted Buster's info and a crazy picture of him on Rescue Me! as a last ditch effort and after a short period of time we found him a wonderful home. I will really miss the little guy he was my best friend, but I think he will be just fine in his new home. Thanks so much 'Rescue Me!' for helping me place him.

DaVinci, who was in a kill shelter, found his loving forever home just days after he was posted on Rescue Me! Though he was here in Pampa in the Texas Panhandle, and his new owner was near San Antonio, she managed to meet half way and get him. Not only did she adopt DaVinci, she adopted his roommate Gabriel (not a manx, but another black beauty)! They are both doing great and loving their surroundings and would say a whole-hearted 'thank you' if they could!

There were several inquiries, but Pearl has an incontinence problem PLUS she is pregnant & kittens due anytime. I just kept her. After kittens I will deal with spaying and incontinence, then we'll see...she is 1 past my 2 cat limit.

My mother's beautiful Manx kitten was raised by her alone for a year so she became a people person and just wanted to sit on mom's lap and be petted all day long. Perfect for mom and Delila. But before mom died I moved in with my cat and 2 dogs to care for my mother. Delila just ignored the other animals and would grab at every chance she got to get on my lap and take some petting in. Well, after mom passed away I put Delila on RescueMe.Org She wanted more attention (loving) then I had time to give with 4 pets now. I think it was only a day or two and I got a call from a wonderful young lady who thought Delila would be perfect for her mother-in-law who had a Manx that passed away 2 years ago. She showed Delila's picture to her mother and father-in-law and they both said yes its time 'Let's get her'. Delila will be their only animal as she was used to with my mother. It seems to be a perfect fit except for the fact that I miss Delila a lot - especially in the evening after dinner when I sit down to watch TV and she doesn't run over to get her lap petting in before bed time. I missed her the moment she was gone and so does the other 3 animals. I think they believe she is just at the doctors for awhile. Thank you RescueMe.Org for being here for me and for Delila. I promised my mother I would find her a good home and I believe this is better than me keeping her and her having to share me with the other 3. Now she has 2 people loving her up all the time and one is home all day so can't do better than that.

A couple of years ago, a Manx cat showed up in our neighborhood. We brought him in, tried to find his owners.....all the usual stuff. He ended up moving in with us. Unfortunately, he had urinary blockages a couple of times that nearly cost him his life. We put him on a special diet, but he wanted to eat the food that the 3 other cats were eating as well as his food. This was not a good thing and we tried to keep everybody separated, but it was quite difficult. We needed to find a home for him where he could be the king cat and eat the food that would keep him alive. We posted his information on the Rescue Me! site and waited until we found the perfect match for him. He was the best cat ever and we hated to send him away, but a lady that had just lost her Manx called, looking for a new companion. It appears to be a perfect match. They are both reportedly very happy with the arrangement. We are fortunate that there is a web site like this available and that we found a good home for Tank.

Dear Jeff, Thank you for putting together this wonderful website! A Manx kitty was 'dumped' near our house two weeks ago. She was thin and a clearly traumatized by finding herself in an unknown environment, with no food and no shelter. We slowly built her trust by feeding and watering her, until she allowed us to pet her. We then borrowed a scanner from our vet, and realized she he had no chip. Since we have two territorial cats (and a cat-loving dog) of our own, we knew we couldn't adopt her, but we wanted to try and find her a good home before giving her to a shelter. While searching online for adoption resources, I came across your site. Emails started coming in the next day after I posted. Many people showed initial interest, but never followed up. One family did, however. They drove two hours to our home to meet her, and it was love at first sight. We never intended on giving her to the first person who came along. It needed to be couldn't be the a really good fit, and I just couldn't be happier with the home she found! 'Our' kitty will be loved and taken care of, as all animals should be, pure breeds or wonderful mutts :-) Thanks again, Jeff, and thanks to Brian and his lovely family!

Jeff - Twilight and Spare Cat, sister and brother, were adopted as a pair by two retired US NAVY nurses living in The Villages in Central Florida. They were an ideal match for the kitties. Of all the postings made on local bulletin boards and on the Internet, the only posting to elicit a response (There was one other RescueMe.org response from a person living quite far away). was the RescueMe.org site. I was particularly impressed at how well the site is laid out and how easy it was to use. I see a donation to RescueMe.org in my future. Thanks, Robert R. Bullard, P. E.

Hello [email protected], I am writing to say how happy we are with finding our new Furkid! In the past we have had a few stray cats that became members to our household. Giving these unfortunate animals a home filled with love and plenty of attention is truly rewarding. Homeless pets can make the best companions. Two of our Manx Furkids have passed on. I cant tell you how much we missed them and the joy they brought to our entire family. I have been searching for 10 months for 'Stumpy'. It's like he resembles a combination between the two Manx that passed on. We are thrill and excited to pick 'Stumpy' up for Christmas. Santa has made us very happy! Truly a Merry Christmas. We will be looking for a brother for 'Stumpy' in the near future. RescueMe not only helps our needing Furkids but the families that need them too. A 'Big Thank YOU RescueMe. Sincerely, Patricia Crespo and Family Much Love and Peace!
