Rescue Me ID: 14-08-24-00495Fluffy (female)

Manx Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

When Fluffy's owner died, she found herself without anywhere to go. So TCR took her in. Fluffy is a stunning grey and white Cymric/Manx born about 2007. She's a little shy with strangers, but adores being petted and so will come around pretty quickly if you give her chin and face scritches. She came from a household with other cats and a dog so she should do fine in a multi pet household. She's simply stunning and sweet, what more could you want? Fluffy is vaccinated, vetted, wormed, spayed, will be microchipped and is FeLV/FIV negative. Her adoption fee is $50 More photos available at ... Rescue Me ID: 14-08-23-00433Lita (female)

Manx Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lita and her housemate, Fluffy, a gray-and-white Cymric/Manx, found themselves suddenly homeless when their elderly guardian passed away. TCR came to the rescue and both are now part of our foster program. Lita is a tabby-and-white Cymric/Manx born around 2007. She is fostering with TCR's volunteer, Richard, so we asked him to tell us about her: 'Wow! Where to begin? First, let me tell you that within an hour of arriving at my home this petite princess had me wrapped around her little paw. Lita is one of those cats who combine being both gorgeous and adorable in one enticing little package. To make her even more irresistible, she is ... (Read More)as sweet and gentle and affectionate as she is beautiful. While used to living in a multi-pet household that included a cat-friendly dog, Lita is much more interested in human companionship. She is the ultimate lap kitty and will happily snuggle in my lap for as long as I'll allow, purring and kneading away contentedly. When Lita looks up at me with those large, luminous eyes my heart melts right on the spot! She also has the endearing habit of rolling on her back for a tummy rub. If not in my lap, Lita likes to be close by and will often follow me around the house like a little dog. She has also become more vocal when she wants attention or mealtimes aren't served up fast enough for her liking. Yet, this chatter is delivered in the sweetest little meows you can possibly imagine. Lita also has a playful side and enjoys the variety of toys available in my home. The various catnip-infused puffballs seem to be her favorites, so far. Lita is a little skittish at times and coupled with her gentle nature I believe she will do best in a quiet home without children. She does get along well with my two cats, but again, her focus is immediately directed toward me whenever I'm available. This tells me that Lita would be miserable as a solitary cat, unless her human guardian was home most of each day to keep her company. Lita's long hair will require periodic combing or brushing to prevent mats and tangles. However, her undercoat appears to be only of medium density, so a good combing/brushing once a week should suffice. Fortunately, Lita loves to be gently groomed. After all, it's more attention from her human! Lita is on the plump side and needs to slowly lose weight to regain her girlish figure. To help with this process she is on a regimen of two canned food meals per day, with dry food used only as a bedtime treat. In short, Lita is a wonderful cat who will make the right person/family a wonderful companion. Under other circumstances I would adopt her myself! If you would like to adopt two compatible cats, please also look at Lita's former housemate, Fluffy.' Lita is vaccinated, vetted, wormed, spayed, will be microchipped and is FeLV/FIV negative. Her adoption fee is $65 More photos available at https://picasaweb.google.com/113389094342773508580/Lita?authuser=0&feat=directlink (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-08-11-00219Pandora (female)

Manx Mix    Age: Senior

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

DECLAWED This sweet little girl was left at a vet's office for convenience euthanasia, because she was no longer wanted. The office just couldn't put her down when she was so loving and completely healthy, so they called us and asked if we could take her into our program. She is 10 years old, a beautiful dilute torti with no tail and the sweetest girl ever. She loves to be around her people, will purr and rub on you, and will roll over for belly rubs. It took her a little time to adjust to her foster home, because of all she'd been through, but once she did she is a joy to have around. She gets along with most cats, although there are a few ... Rescue Me ID: 14-07-11-00531Claire (female)

Manx Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Born about June 2013, Claire is a pretty tortoiseshell Manx mix. She and her daughter were abandoned outside a rural shelter. The shelter contacted us and we rescued both of them. Claire is very sweet and affectionate, she loves lap time, and she absolutely loves to be brushed. She loves to nuzzle and rub against your face. She also likes to play, and a fishing pole toy is one of her favorites. She's a social girl, and really enjoys time with people. With a patient slow intruduction, she probably would do well with another playful cat, or she'd do great as an only cat who would get all the human attention in the household. Claire is ... (Read More)vaccinated, vetted, wormed, spayed, microchipped and is FeLV/FIV negative. Her adoption fee is $85 More photos available at https://picasaweb.google.com/113389094342773508580/Claire?authuser=0&feat=directlink (Less)
