Rescue Me ID: 14-07-17-00320Rumpy (female)

Manx Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Home urgently needed for rescued stray 'rumpy manx' female, medium hair brown tabby in northwest Arkansas. 'Rumpy' has no tail bones, not even a stump. She walks fine and is fully litter trained with no sign of manx syndrome (no incontinence, no urine leaking, walks normally). I had her spayed and rabies vaccinated, and she's very friendly and petite, probably only a year old, or 2 years at most. She wants to be an indoor-only or indoor/outdoor cat (will cry to be let inside when she gets lonely.)

Meet Sebastian Sampson McLovin! The husband of one of our volunteers found him on the walking trail next to JB Hunt on a very hot day, last summer, and couldn't bear to leave him there. Sebastian is a stumpy manx. This young adult looks heavier than 10 lbs, but he's just big boned. Sebby is a cat of simple tastes: catnip and cuddles. He is the reigning King of Headbonks - he's very affectionate and cuddly. He's a lap kitty who enjoys belly rubs, feather wands, and fuzzy mice. He eats like it's an Olympic sport. He's social and vocal, and will make a great companion. He does not get along with most other cats, and is scared of dogs., but he ... (Read More)does need attention- he had an adoptive home but they are at work all day and Sebastian gets bored, playing quite aggressively when they came home, so ideally we are looking for a home for him where a human is home at all times, or possible another strong, playful cat. lnteresting Manx Trivia Low-Cost Arkansas Spay & Neuter Clinics
Manx Cats are descended from native cats indigenous to the Isle of Man. One legend states that Noah closed the door of the Ark on a Manx Cat, which explains the absence of a tail. The Manx can jump to absurd heights. Manx Cats often behave like dogs and bury their toys.
